Unveiling the Person and the Vision: A Recap of the Carter Campaign Announcement

Nearly 100 supporters and press joined Judge Tionn Fambro Carter on Monday April 14 for her official campaign announcement. She was introduced by Doug House, former Illinois Democratic County Chairs Association President and former Rock Island County Democratic Party Chair. House saidThe World is a particularly unsettling place these days. However there are things and events that bring us comfort during the chaos and ground us so that we know that it is going to be okay, a wedding, the birth of child, time with family and friends, special events such as this one and community celebrations in our lives bring us that comfort. And then there are special people that bring us comfort by their deeds, they step forward to protect us from those that would do us and our families harm, physically, perhaps mentally, often guiding us collectively through tough times, such civil issues of business and martial discourse, various challenges that are hard to even imagine until they occur. These people are our judges and Tionn Fambro - Carter is one such person and one such judge that brings us comfort."
